With Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley at his side, singer/songwriter Jason Isbell spent over six years leading the Drive-By Truckers on the road and through a few recordings for New West Records. He’s gone solo on the same label with the new Sirens of the Ditch, laced with Isbell’s churning guitar and Southern blues swagger. Listen to Jason Isbell live on Folkways.
