Producer and keyboardist Greg Kurstin is the “bee” while vocalist Inara George, daughter of former Little Feat leader Lowell, is the “bird.” The Los Angeles duo blends their love of jazz standards and electro-pop for an infectious and beautiful collaboration. Their latest EP Please Clap Your Hands features four original, bouncing tracks and a Bee Gees cover. Listen to The Bird and the Bee perform live on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
