Bukka Allen Live From Studio 1A – October 15, 2007
Son of Texas songwriting legend Terry Allen, Bukka Allen recorded an album of his own songs with famed Texas producer and pedal steel player Lloyd Maines when he was 17. Since moving to Austin from Lubbock in the early ‘90s, Bukka has performed and recorded with such notables as Will Sexton, Alejandro Escovedo, Beaver Nelson, Joe Ely and Ian Moore. Confidante is Bukka’s first recording as leader in almost a decade and features his instrumental trio Screen Door Music. Listen to Bukka Allen when he performed on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
