Warm In the Wake – September 4, 2007

September 4, 2007 1:50 pm by: Jay Trachtenberg

Psychedelic indie-pop, twangy Americana and countrified rock’n’roll are just a few descriptors that Decatur, GA’s Warm in the Wake have endured since forming over 5 years ago. The band has actually been in the making for ten years with line-up and style changes, but didn’t start releasing recordings until ‘03. This year’s critically acclaimed Gold Dust Trail EP served listeners yearning for the group’s genre-less sound. The new American Prehistoric continues to explore the band’s Southern roots. They performed on Music With Jay Trachtenberg on Tuesday, September 4, 2007.
