The Sea & Cake Live From 1A – September 20, 2007
Chicago supergroup The Sea and Cake was originally intended as a one-off project. The group’s 1994 debut is an enigma, comprised of singer/guitarist Sam Prekop’s clever lyrics and a subtle fusion of pop, rock, jazz and soul. The band’s latest, Everybody is adorned with fuzzy, jagged and powerful guitars recalling rock wizards Television, while showcasing the various outside interests of each band member.
