While dodging countless comparisons to Chrissie Hynde and Neko Case, vocalist and songwriter Claire Hamilton of Austin’s The Breathers brings a timeless and lush quality to the band’s new 12-song I’m Still Curious. Locals Gary Newcomb, Bill Doughty, Landis Armstrong and Jeff Johnston lend their talents to the spacey, ambient tones that often evolve in to tight hooks and memorable choruses from the group.
