A revival of a classic in the Chicano theatre tradition.

Teatro Vivo is currently staging a revival of La Viotima, a bilingual play with music that depicts one family’s history as seen through the issue of immigration. The show features Michael Mendoza, Ernest Rosas, and Celeste Mendoza, and is directed by Teatro Vivo artistic director Rupert Reyes.

Where: The Dougherty Arts Center, 1110 Barton Springs Road

When: Thursday – Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
