Ana Egge on Folkways – September 8, 2007

September 8, 2007 2:37 pm by: KUT Staff

Folk songwriter Ana Egge grew up in the Dakotas and moved to New Mexico with her “latter-day hippie parents” before heading to Austin and catching the attention of Asleep at the Wheel drummer Dave Sanger, who would eventually produce her first album. Although her discographical output has been slim over the last decade, Egge is in constant creative, performing mode as a NY coffee house and concert hall favorite. She’s in town with new release Lazy Days and a show at the Cactus Cafe. Hear Ana Egge live on Folkways.
