The Gourds of Austin, TX have been delighting audiences with their own original brand of roots-rock, alt-country and Cajun jams since their inception over 15 years ago. Their new recording Noble Creatures features more creative and consistent rootsy esoterica from the group. Hear The Gourds live in Studio 1A Monday at noon on Music with Jay Trachtenberg before the band heads out of town for a national tour.
