Ladybug Transistor Live From 1A – August 23, 2007

Brooklyn’s indie-pop outfit Ladybug Transistor has been churning out recordings, undergoing line-up changes and banging out live shows for over a decade, but it wasn’t until the release of the band’s self-titled 2003 recording from Calexico producer Craig Schumacher that their best aspects were revealed. The band returns to their original Marlborough Farms studio with another line-up overhaul on their sixth album, this year’s Can’t Wait Another Day on Merge Records. Ladybug Transistor rocks Studio 1A Thursday at 2:00 p.m. on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
