Larry Lange Live on Eklektikos
Local bass player and bandleader Larry Lange grew up in Victoria, TX at a time when musicians from San Antonio, TX to Lafayette, LA were trading and playing each other’s songs. Singers like Sunny Ozuna, Huey Meaux, Joe Berry and the Crazy Cajun all had an early influence on Lange. He’s played with Paul Ray and the Cobras, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Angela Strehli, Doug Sahm and Delbert McClinton among others. Now you can hear him leading his own band the Lonely Knights. Catch them live Friday at 10:30 a.m. on Eklektikos with John Aielli before a set of weekend CD release shows.
