Vince Bell’s Folkways Appearance
Austin singer/songwriter Vince Bell was one pronounced dead after being catapulted through a car window and landing in a pool of gasoline. That might explain why his songs come from places of fate, pain and doubt. Yet his stark sadness is accompanied by bold statements and a simple beauty reminiscent of fellow legend Townes Van Zandt. Bell’s fourth and latest release Recado is a collection of messages winding down the long, dirt road of his time, so far, on earth.
