Dan Zanes’ Eklektikos Performance

June 8, 2007 11:40 am by: John Aielli

As the former singer and guitar player for 80’s cult-rock band The Del Fuegos, Dan Zanes and brother Warren reached moderate success in the rock-n-roll world but never quite broke through commercially. After the group disbanded in 1990, Zanes devoted himself to a solo career with a series of acclaimed children’s albums. His latest, Catch that Train, features collaborations with The Blind Boys of Alabama, Nick Cave and Natalie Merchant. Hear Dan Zanes live on Eklektikos with John Aielli from Friday, June 8, 2007 before his show Sunday night at Hogg Auditorium.
