Oliver Rajamani Live From Studio 1A

May 17, 2007 5:25 pm by: Jay Trachtenberg

South India-born Oliver Rajamani is a treasure on the Austin music scene, lending his enormous talent to singer/songwriters, blues and rock bands and world music conglomerations. His two latest, simultaneous releases “Forty Days” and “Forty Nights” blend traditional Indian music with Spanish/Gypsy flamenco and Middle Eastern melodies. You’ll even hear a Dylan cover rounding out the recording. Rajamani will bring his full ensemble into Studio 1A for a live performance Thursday on Music with Jay Trachtenberg before the group’s CD release show at the One World Theater Sunday night.
