Austin’s Michael Fracasso came to town in 1990, but it was a long trip from Ohio to Washington State, through New York on the Village circuit and finally to this river city he calls home. His emotive tenor and clever songwriting are both clearly evident on his latest Red Dog Blues, but his own, original brand of folk-rock now has a more darker edge than what we’ve come to expect from Fracasso’s sweet voice.
