Barbara Kooyman Live on April 12

Since Texas band Timbuk 3’s ascent to stardom in the late ‘80s, singer/songwriter Barbara Kooyman believes in the power of music to unveil political poignancy and social significance. Her latest project Sparrows Wheel offers an alternative source of funding for public radio. She told us about the project and performed a few of her latest creations with fellow bandmate and violinist Richard Bowden live at KUT on April 12, 2007.
