The Silos Live from Studio 1A
As pioneers of alt-country, The Silos have released over a dozen strong albums since 1985. They’re all the brainchild of Walter Salas-Humara, who was born in Florida to exiled Cuban parents and started writing songs at the University of Florida before relocating to New York. The group’s latest Come On Like the Fast Lane offers more promising, muscular rock. The Silos played live from Studio 1A Tuesday, March 13, 2007.
