Eliza Carthy Live

As part of our SXSW 2007 Music Festival celebration, John welcomed Eliza Carthy to Eklektikos on March 14.

Daughter of famed English folk musicians Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson, Eliza Carthy has been following the musical footsteps of her parents since the age of 13. While her style draws from the traditional music of her parents, Carthy interjects her work with a modern, refreshing sound. She also performed at the All Music Is World Music showcase Thursday, March 15.
