Ana Laan Live
As part of our SXSW 2007 Music Festival celebration, John welcomed Ana Laan to Studio 1A on March 15.
Born in Madrid and raised in Sweden, Ana Laan sings a mix of Spanish, English, Spanglish, and Swedish. Her stage show is described as intimate, pairing acoustic guitar and percussion with samples and live effects. Her sophomore album Chocolate and Roses will be released this spring. She dropped by for a live performance at KUT and played at the All Music Is World Music showcase.
