As the founding member of Boston’s The Modern Lovers, cult-figure Jonathan Richman has become one of rock’s most unpredictable, eccentric and lovable characters. Since the band’s debut album in 1976, Richman’s rock combo and solo output nearly exceeds two-dozen recordings.
