Alejandro Escovedo Live in Studio 1A

February 21, 2007 12:01 pm by: John Aielli

Alejandro Escovedo 14-year solo career is full of twists and turns, ups and downs, and some of the best rock-n-roll music to originate from the Lone Star State. Last year’s John Cale-produced The Boxing Mirror is hailed by critics and music lovers as his finest yet. Alejandro played – with a stripped-down combo – live February 21, 2007 on Eklektikos with John Aielli before Alejandro’s performance at La Zona Rosa on Friday, February 23—with Grupo Fantasma, Patty Griffin, Ruben Ramos, and others to benefit Escuelita de Alma and Las Manitas.
