Chrysta Bell Live in Studio 1A
Texas native and singer Chrysta Bell, formerly of Austin bands 8 1/2 Souvenirs and Govinda, currently resides in Santa Monica, CA. That’s where she met acclaimed avant-garde filmmaker David Lynch. Since then, she has starred in three videos directed by Lynch, and now her music graces the soundtrack for Lynch’s new film Inland Empire. Chrysta Bell and an ensemble of fine local musicians played live January 23 on Music with Jay Trachtenberg before her performance at Lynch’s film premiere at the Paramount.
