David Chenu Quintet Performed Live
Saxophonist David Chenu is one of Austin’s finest jazz performers. His compositional skills are brought to life on his first recording One, but latest creation Two features a quintet of exceptional local talent and a sense of freedom in expression so far unheard from Chenu. Lead Jacob Wise on guitar, Evan Jacobs on Piano, Beau Sample on bass and Jason Friedrich on drums performed live in Studio 1A Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at noon on Music with Jay Trachtenberg before their CD release show and in-store at End of an Ear Records.
