Born Philip Gary Schlein in New York City, the scribe behind both American pop-rock staples “Eve of Destruction” and “Secret Agent Man” received his first recording contract in 1957 before he was a teenager. His new release “Sailover” was a longtime coming and features guests Buddy Miller, Frank Black and Lucinda Williams. P.F. Sloan’s performed live in Studio 1A on Monday, October 30th at noon on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.
