Swedish singer/songwriter Jose Gonzalez was raised by Argentine parents, and has become a star in his native land. His album Veneer is about as intimate as a recording can be, with a deeply personal sound that reflects the “quiet is the new loud” school as founded by artists like Elliot Smith and Kings of Convenience. Jose Gonzalez performed Thursday morning at 10:30 on Eklektikos.
