Rosie Flores
Texan Rosie Flores tops the list among the creators of the alternative country movement. Her rockabilly-revival sound infused with fiery guitar solos and gritty vocals is as much a part of her music today as it was during the 70’s punk rock explosion when Flores formed Rosie and the Screamers. From Los Angeles to Nashville and back to Central Texas, Flores has outlasted a host of other acts in her genre. Rosie Flores performed live in Studio 1A on Tuesday at noon.
