Ron Wilkins Quartet

San Antonio’s Ron Wilkins attended North Texas State University, now the University of North Texas, where he honed his jazz chops on the trombone performing with the 2 o’clock Lab Band, the NTSU Jazz Singers, and the College All-Star Big Band led by Clark Terry. Aside from being a music educator, Ron has shared the stage with Jerry Lewis, Bob Hope, Lena Horne, Rosemary Clooney, Dizzy Gillespie, the Temptations, and many other well known entertainers. As a noted jazz musician, he currently performs with his 4-tet in the San Antonio and Austin area. Ron Wilkins performed 4-tet, live in Studio 1A Friday at noon on Eklektikos.
