Dan Barrett and Mike Meadows studied together at Berklee College of Music while performing in the Porter and Davis square subway stations in Boston, MA. Harmonica player and vocalist Simon Wallace of the UK joined the band when Dan and Mike moved to Austin in 2004. The trio presents their roots music, simple and raw, at the Cactus Café Monday night. porterdavis performed live in Studio 1A with host Jay Trachtenberg Monday at noon on KUT.
