Graham Wilkinson’s Underground Township

August 16, 2006 12:05 pm by: John Aielli

Graham Wilkinson’s Underground Township of Austin play American roots music, but that’s not a firm description considering their sound blends roots-rock with reggae, soul and influences ranging from Woody Guthrie and Stevie Wonder to Parliament and the Grateful Dead. Following a couple live and local recordings, their latest self-titled full length is a live acoustic radio broadcast out of Commerce, TX. The Underground Township performed live on KUT on Eklektikos Wednesday at noon.
