Emancipet seeks to reduce the number of animals being euthanized.

Emancipet seeks to reduce the number of animals being euthanized due to overpopulation and lack of good homes. Their ultimate goal is to help make Austin a “no kill” city by the year 2007. They do so by performing low cost and free spay and neuter services for the low-income community. They also provide vaccines, routine medications, pre-anesthetic blood work, heartworm/feline aids/feline leukemia testing, and general public education on responsible pet ownership.
