Milton Mapes

Milton Mapes of Austin formed in 1999, naming themselves after guitarist Greg Vanderpool’s grandfather. A rock band by definition, their sound often straddles the bounds of atmospheric indie-rock and timeless, dusty Americana while drawing comparisons to Crazy Horse and Springsteen. With three albums under their belt, Milton Mapes performed live on Eklektikos Thursday at noon.
