Rosanne Cash
Rosanne was born to father Johnny Cash and first wife Vivian Liberto, who raised her in Southern California. Reluctant to follow in the footsteps of her father as a musician, Cash worked as a secretary, took a stab at acting and traveled abroad before cashing in on her talent. Rodney Crowell produced songs for her 1979 American debut Right or Wrong. The couple married that same year and the face of contemporary country music changed forever. Cash’s 2006 release Black Cadillac is a heart rendering elegy made in the wake of the death of her mother, step-mother and father.
