Rhett Miller

March 21, 2006 12:07 pm by: KUT Staff

Texan Rhett Miller is best known as frontman for the much loved Dallas alt-county band Old 97’s. Their first release arrived on the scene over a decade ago, but Rhett recorded a set of solo acoustic folk songs prior to forming the group. 2002’s The Instigator is Rhett’s major label debut as a solo artist with a pop glow. His latest The Believer is on Verve and features more of Rhett’s focused, romantic songs.
