Neko Case
Neko Case is an alt-country singer songwriter who started out as a drummer around the Northwest punk rock scene in the mid-80’s. After performing in several roots-rock and punk bands for a decade, Case finally released her solo debut The Virginian in 1997, featuring traditional country covers and originals. Three years later, Bloodshot Records released her critically acclaimed second release Furnace Room Lullaby. Since, Case has created three more recordings including a live album, and has appeared as a live guest on Austin City Limits. Her latest Fox Confessor Brings the Flood features Case’s refined lyrical poetry and growth as a songwriter and producer.
