Laura Veirs

Seattle singer/songwriter Laura Veirs has five official recordings under her belt, all varying in mood, atmosphere and texture. Her own self-titled debut from 1999 is a live performance with just her voice and guitar. 2003’s Troubled by the Fire is full-band effort featuring luminaries Bill Frisell and Fred Chalenor. Her latest offering Year of Meteors features the tightly-knit backup band, the Tortured Souls led by drummer/producer Tucker Martine, to flesh out the material.
